Problem with windows update - now boots to black screen with cursor. SFC & DISM no longer work. Can't repair.

Step 1:
WARNING! The following fix is specific to the user's system in this thread only. No one else should follow these instructions, as it could damage your system.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it on your desktop.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply.

Step 2:
1. Click the Start button and type cmd in the search box.
2. Right-click on the cmd that comes up and select Run as administrator.
3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following line and press enter.
pnputil -a C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\prnge001.inf_amd64_6a8dd64a6bebbcc2\prnge001.inf
When completed, copy/paste the following line and press enter.
pnputil -a C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\prnfxcl2.inf_amd64_5030dd7b0390c5f8\prnfxcl2.inf
When completed, copy/paste the following line and press enter.
pnputil -a C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\prnepcl2.inf_amd64_f35e90ee3b87872c\prnepcl2.inf

4. You will likely receive a prompt that the publisher of the driver cannot be verified. Please install the driver anyway as this message is normal.

Attach a fresh copy of the file C:\Windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log
 
Sorry I don't have anything other that what I put in the last zip, do you want me to try the update again.
 
I tired to run the update again and it looks like it actually stuck last time(!!), did not prompt me for reboot and windows update says only these items.

I did include the latest logs here as well.

Try to install KB890830.
If successful, try to install KB2267602
