If you go in the following folder:

Do you see anything?

You cannot get in ProgramData? Go in your Folder Options, and check Show hidden files, folders and drives. Then you should see it in your Windows Explorer.

I apologize if this is an inconvenience to you. But, I really do appreciate the help.

All good no worries it's not a bother :) Since you don't use AVG programs anymore, uninstall the two programs listed below.

It seems like it failed the delete the keys. Let's do something else instead. Can you see file extensions on your system right now or not? If you can't, go in your Folder Options (you can access that via the Control Panel), and under the View tab, uncheck Hide extensions for known file type. Once done, create a new text file on your Desktop and call it AVG.reg (so you'll change the .txt extension to .reg). Once done, right-click on it and select Edit/Modify. Copy/paste the following in it.
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{01BD4FC9-2F86-4706-A62E-774BB7E9D308}]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{8CD86D42-C4DD-4E40-9211-164DFFBCA4DB}]
Save the file, then double-click on it. It'll ask you if you're sure to want to merge the changes in the Registry. Simply accept. Once done, follow the instructions from the post below once again and give me the new logs.

Good it worked :) Alright, now I want you to go throught your programs, and leaving out programs from your computer manufacturer, Microsoft and hardware manufacturers (like Realtek, Intel, AMD, etc.) uninstall the programs you don't use/need anymore. Your error code is often associated with a program interfering with the installation, so we'll get rid of anything you don't need.

Done, or at least everything I could see on the Start Screen. Side note - Is there any safe way to delete the extra files and/or folders that are left behind in folders like ProgramData, AppData, Progam(x64), ...etc? With AVG being a prime example.

If you uninstalled the programs and they aren't present on your system anymore, you can delete these folders manually (some will require Admin Rights).

I do have Admin Rights, but the comp does not see me as such. Also, could this problem be associated with the fact that Windows Media Player crashes, and sometimes now Windows Explorer. Explorer used to crash on me all the time, now only if I try to go to properties when I right click Computer.

Are you able to create a new user account, make him Admin, and then log in it and see if you can delete the folders?

Yes I have tried that. I am the only user on this computer now, and there was only one person using it before I acquired it. For the most part I can do most Admin required functions, but when it comes to deleting files the requires Admin Rights, it does not see me as such.

So you tried to create an Admin user, and even in that account, you aren't able to delete folders in Program Files, Program Files (x86) and ProgramData?

Have not tried creating one to delete files, but I will try when I get that message again.
