Makes sense and thought as much. If you have any suggestions on how to fix my media problems, I'll be happy to try. Otherwise, I await any further instructions on the Widows Install.
No sorry I don't have access to a Flash Drive nor do I have an available blank DVD. Was going to try that method, if I did have either of those. So, I am stuck with using the computer as a bootable device for windows 10.
I found a "possible solution" here, Cannot upgrade to Windows 10 - error code C190011F - Microsoft Community
First reply by Cybot, but I am hesitant to even try that idea.
DanD has a point, I still get Windows Explorer crashing if I right click on Computer and click properties. Also have been trying to reinstall Real Player and anytime I run that it "stops working". Now I seem to be having problems with Firefox. It seems to have disappeared with the switch over to the new user, and so I re-installed it. Now anytime I try to run it, it too crashes. The tweak tool seems to have help with a bit of other stuff, but it is doing nothing for these other problems. Anyway, going to see if Windows 10 loads tonight or not. Most likely not, but I am hoping....
I always installed it on my Windows 7 machines without any worries Alright, access it like you would access the content of a normal CD/DVD, and execute setup.exe then pick the Update Now option.
After the .ISO finished running, it came up with the message of Modern Host has stopped working, so I reset the computer to try again. Upon the computer restarting, it finished installing Windows 10.
Lol I know, poor choice of words, but yes thank you very much. All the tips and gadgets were quite helpful in getting my computer to run much smoother, even before the installation.
