I am at the Troubleshoot section and ready for the next steps. I should inform you that I did do a restore point to 12 hrs ago. I thought this would help but it did not.

Choose Advanced Options...Startup Settings...then you should have a Restart button. Go ahead and click that.

The machine will restart to the Startup Settings screen. When it does, please hit the F5 key at the top of your keyboard to boot into Safe Mode with Networking.

Your machine should successfully boot into this mode. Let me know if it does.

I don't see Startup Settings Option. Just the following:

1. System Restore
2. System Image Recovery
3. Automatic Repair
4. Command Prompt
5. UEFI Firmware Settings

Not surprised. I believe AVG remnants may be causing this issue. OK let's go into the UEFI Firmware Settings.

Yes please. It will bring you to the UEFI settings screen. There should be an option in there regarding Secure Boot. We want to disable it. It's likely currently enabled. Don't exit out of the screen yet once you make this change. Let me know when it's done.
