Please post the latest CBS.log.

Build 1909 (10.0.18363.xxx) is out of servicing since May 2021, this might be a reason why the Update Assistant failed upgrading to 22H2. Could you please try to perform an in-place upgrade?

Windows 10 Upgrade
The steps below will upgrade the operating system, without removing any file or program. But make always a backup of all your important data, or make a complete system image!
See this guide: how to make a complete image of your systemdrive.

  • Go to this Microsoft page and under the title Create Windows 10 installation media press on Download tool now.
  • Save the tool on your Desktop and double click to run it.
  • On the License terms page, if you accept the license terms, select Accept.
  • On the What do you want to do page, select Create installation media (USB....) and then select Next.
  • Choose the ISO file option. Once the download is complete, right click the ISO and select the option Mount.
  • Open the Windows File Explorer and open mounted ISO, and run the setup.exe file.
  • Follow the instructions and click on the option Change what to keep.
  • Select the option Keep personal files and apps and click next.
  • Windows Setup will now start upgrade installation.

Hi,

Right-click on the Start button and click Windows PowerShell (Admin).
Copy and paste the following command into it, press enter afterwards

Wait for the message "WindowsUpdate.log written to C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\WindowsUpdate.log".
Attach the logfile WindowsUpdate.log to your next reply.

  • Click the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  • When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  • Copy and paste the following command line and press Enter.
Code:
reg export "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System" "%userprofile%\desktop\regexp.txt"

  • Post the logfile as attachment in your next reply.

Start the

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool again.
  • Note: Your antivirus program may report FRST incorrectly as an infection. If so, disable the real-time protection when downloading and running FRST.
  • Right-click to run the tool as administrator.
  • Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  • Press the Scan button.
  • Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  • Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

I see some remnants of a previous infection and some locked files and folders, as well as other items that can be cleaned up.

1. Open Programs and Features and remove the following:
- Java 8 Update 341 (or update to the latest version: https://www.java.com/nl/download/java8_update.jsp)
- Microsoft Silverlight (not supported anymore since October 2021)
- Windows Setup Remediations (this component may conflict with newer releases of KB4023057).

2. Start the
