Good Evening Gary,

Thanks for the latest updates. I followed your instructions and applied the new SFCFix.zip (please see attached output SFCFix.txt).

After a reboot, the DISM command failed as follows:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 10.0.19041.844

Image Version: 10.0.19043.1526

[== 3.8% ]
Error: 4448

The WOF driver encountered a corruption in the compressed file's Resource Table.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

The SFC /scannow command also failed again, but progressed a bit further this time:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 42% complete.

Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.

Hi Gary,

I noticed in the Settings "Windows Update" panel that there is a new pending Windows update for April 2022 (KB4023057):

I suppose this would not be expected to install properly at the moment because the Windows OS is still corrupted.

No, it's not likely, and best not to try until we've fixed things.
