[SOLVED] Problem!!!

Good Afternoon Gary,

Thanks for your latest SFCFix.zip update, which I have applied just now (please see attached SFCFix.txt). Following a restart, the SFC /scannow command has failed again at verification 88% complete:

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19043.1526]
(c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 88% complete.

Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.

Please find attached a zip of the CBS.log file.

Thanks for your help.

Good Morning Gary,

Thank you for the latest SFCFix.zip update, which I have applied (please see attached SFCFix.txt). Following a reboot, the SFC /scannow command ran to verification 100% complete :-).
However, SFC reported finding some corrupt files that it was unable to fix:

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19043.1526]
(c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.

Please find attached a zip of the CBS.log file.

Many thanks for all your help.

Latest log shows a lot of files that need sourcing, so it's likely going to take me a while to get them all together. I'll get back to you ASAP.

Hi Gary,

Thanks very much for the latest SFCFix.zip update, which I have applied just now (please see attached SFCFix.txt). Following a restart, the SFC /scannow command returned without any errors or warnings, which is super news :-):

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19043.1526]
(c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

However, when I executed the following DISM commands, they still returned errors (please see attached dism.log in dism.zip file):

C:\WINDOWS\system32>dism /cleanup-image /online /checkhealth

Are there any other additional steps that I should now perform?

Thanks so much for all your help and support.

Your topic has been marked as solved, did you do this, because I certainly did not ? I've removed the SOLVED notification, presuming it was placed there in error.

Looking over your latest logs, back ASAP.

Thanks for your reply, Gary. I saw the topic was marked as SOLVED and wondered about this. I did not set it to solved, at least intentionally. It is sometimes easy to accidentally click on a link while scrolling!

Thanks for your help.
