[SOLVED] Windows 7 32 system restore not working sfc and Sur ok

Checked hard drive with Samsung Magician checks ok but found this in device manager Image attached

Provide the System Hive
  1. Start the program Regedit.exe.
  2. In the left pane of Regedit browse to the key Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM
  3. Right-click on it and select “Export”.
  4. Choose as file location your desktop.
  5. Typ for the file name "SYSTEM" and choose as type “Registry Hive Files (*.*)”.
  6. Click the button Save.
  7. When completed you can close Regedit.
  8. Attach the file SYSTEM which should be now on your desktop to your next reply.
 
Step 1:
Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.
  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST.exe and select "Run as administrator".
    Note: Your antivirus program may report FRST incorrectly as an infection. If so, disable the real-time protection when downloading and running FRST.
  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  7. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply.

Step 2:
Restart the machine.
Try system restore again and report the result.

Do you get an error when trying to create a system restore point ?

Hi, I was incorrect in my last post same error comes up about a minute after trying to create a system restore point. Image attached

MiniToolBox and save the file on your desktop.

Note: Save all your work and close all programs!
Rightclick "MiniToolBox" and select "Run as administrator".
If you see the startup message "Are you sure you want to continue?" select Yes.
Put a checkmark at Select All.

Click "Go".
When the scan is finished a log file with the name "MTB.txt" will appear on your desktop.
Attach this log file to your next reply.
