[SOLVED] First Post - Windows 7 Update Failure

SFCFix Scan:
- Download the attachment SFCFixScript.txt and save it on your desktop.
- Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
- Drag the SFCFixScript.txt file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.
- SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
- Once done, 2 files will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt and log.zip.
- Attach both files to your next reply.

Export registry as hive
- Click on the Start button and in the search box, type regedit
- When you see regedit on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
- When regedit opens, using the left pane, navigate to the following registry key and select it by clicking on it once.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SideBySide
- Once selected, click File > Export....
- Change the Save as type: to Registry Hive Files (*.*).
- Name this file SideBySide (with no file extension) and save it to your Desktop.
- Right-click on the SideBySide file and choose Send To -> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
- Attach the .ZIP file to your next post.
Install Update with DISM
- Download the update MSU here: http://download.windowsupdate.com/d..._3d7183f85e23d0173ac8cc5d12d66521e61d238f.msu
- Copy the MSU file to a convenient location (such as C:\temp).
- Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
- When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
- When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each
cd C:\temp
replace C:\temp with your path if different
expand windows6.1-kb2952664-v23-x64_3d7183f85e23d0173ac8cc5d12d66521e61d238f.msu -f:* C:\temp
DISM.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\temp\windows6.1-kb2952664-v23-x64.cab
- You should receive the message:
The operation completed successfully.
Make sure to allow the computer to restart if prompted.
- If you receive any other message:
Post a screenshot of the Commandprompt window.
Zip and attach the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
For some reason the link does not work. I looked up KB2952664 in the Microsoft Update Catalog and can download it there but it's not the same exact name. I'm attaching a screen shot of the two files that can be downloaded. Please advise.

I checked the downloadlink. The file downloads normally.
The KB2952664 in the Microsoft Update Catalog is a newer version. That is not what I want you to install.
Attached the requested update. Unzip it then start the instructions in message #914 at step #2.
